Amy Trejo

Amy is the R&D Director of Hair Care Sustainability at the Procter & Gamble Company. She began her career with P&G in Cincinnati, OH in 1998 after completing her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at Northwestern University. She has gone on to become a proven innovation leader with over 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. She is skilled in product innovation, R&D, fast-moving consumer goods, open innovation and product development. In her career at P&G she has worked across a variety of categories and functions with focus in Life Sciences in service of P&G’s Health & Beauty focused businesses. She has contributed to the development of products supporting brands such as Olay, H&S, Pantene and Align. She currently leads Hair Care R&D teams in the development of superior beauty and personal care products and technologies that are sustainable.
