Yunyun leads product and research partnerships for Life Sciences at OpenAI, with the goal of building AI models to accelerate drug discovery and scientific research. She led the development of OpenAI’s biorisk safeguard systems to mitigate against model-assisted CBRN threat generation, including safety testing, threat research and model capability evaluations. Previously, she worked on AI governance, adversarial testing of generative AI, and privacy engineering at Google.
