Isabelle is the Founder of ID Capital (idcapital.com.sg), a Singapore-based venture investment and advisory firm she launched in 2012. Recognizing food system transformation as essential to planetary and human health, she championed agrifoodtech—powered in part by synthetic biology—as a catalyst for impact across Asia-Pacific. ID Capital has since backed 15 startups. Her work spans the bioeconomy, circularity, and health and wellness, with agrifoodtech as a key anchor.

Determined to accelerate this emerging ecosystem, Isabelle created the Future Food Asia Award in 2016—the region’s first startup platform dedicated to agrifood innovation—leading to the annual Future Food Asia Conference (futurefoodasia.com), supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board in its inception years.

In 2019, ID Capital was appointed co-investment partner by SEEDS Capital, Singapore’s VC investment arm. It expanded to China in 2021 and began building a European footprint in 2022.

Isabelle believes Asia has a pivotal role to play in advancing the bio-revolution, with its unique convergence of biodiversity, talent, and food security needs. Prior to founding ID Capital, she spent 20 years in the luxury goods industries. She holds a Master of Engineering, Science and Technology from École Polytechnique (France) and a degree in Chinese Language & Civilization.
